Private Event for March 1

This is our first screening EVER for “From the Ground Up”! This is why this particular event is reserved especially for family and friends only. We will have screenings available for the public later this year and look forward to sharing those soon!

I am excited to be part of this year’s Peninsula Libraries Comic Arts Fest. I will be part of the festivities that celebrates author visits, hands-on workshops, and Small Press Comics Expos (SPCE). I will be selling my newest Sour Child Studio comics.

April 16 from 7:30-9PM at Clarion Performing Arts Center

We’re excited to present From the Ground Up in partnership with Clarion Performing Arts. Following the screening, researcher Grant Din will share insights from his work in historical preservation and genealogical research. We welcome you to bring your questions and join the conversation about how to get involved in preserving your own family and community history.

April 30 at Oakland History Center

We are partnering with the Oakland History Center in a special screening of our film “From the Ground Up” and a presentation from the Oakland History Center on what happens behind the scenes in their archives! They’ll share more about resources on Oakland and how you can get involved learning about your community!

May 17 from 2-3PM at San Lorenzo Public Library

In honor of APIA Heritage Month, we are screening our film at the San Lorenzo Public Library with special, special guest and featured interviewee, Leon Sun! He will share more about his craft, his philosophy on art, and what legacy he hopes to leave behind. You don’t want to miss this special presentation! Walk-ins are welcomed!
